Menalo Mountain, which is an inspiration for a multitude of myths, the birthplace of nymphs and goddesses, manages to gather large crowds, not only because of its rich history and the friendly nature walks, but also for the exploitation and the development of its ski center.
At the top of the mountain of Mainalo, at an altitude of 1600 meters, on the plateau of Ostrakina, operates, a stone's throw from Athens, a modern ski resort with facilities that ensure the proper servicing of tourists.

Four lifts are available for transporting skiers in eight, of escalating difficulty, ski tracks. There are trainers for athletes
of all levels, snow park for kids, snowboard park, ski school for learning while on-site operate ski rental and snowboard shops, three cafes, a restaurant, chalets, and the renovated shelter EOS of Tripoli, of 40 people capacity. |

ALTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES
Mainalo is ideal for adventurous wanderings in the full of fir tracks. Ride on a "ATV-motorcycle" and discover the hidden beauties of the forest and the secrets of the region. There are two paths to choose from:
- Short Version: Plain - Kato Vrysi - The Round of Ascension Hill - Mainalo fir forest (20 km, 1 hour and 15 minutes).
- Long Version: Plain - Kato Vrysi - The Round of Ascension Hill - Hiking up to Neraidospilia - Rouchi Plateau - Ostrakina Ski resort (40 km, 3 hours).
The Canyon of Lousios River and the rushing waters of Alpheus River create the appropriate conditions for your adrenaline to reach at "red", testing the limits of your endurance. Do mountain biking in the valley of Ladonas and in Ano Doliana. Visit the Cave of Korakospilia, near Vytina.
For trekking in the eastern Parnonas, there is, on the slopes of Malevi Mountain, a lodge of capacity of 50 persons (Arnomousga place).
