Xiropigado of Arkadia

Xiropigado is a picturesque fishing village by the sea of Argolic gulf and belongs to the county of Arcadia. It is the first village of Arcadia coming from Argolida.

In recent years, it has become a valuable resort area. It is a beautiful location with many beaches where visitors can escape from the stress and noise.

Near the village there are cliffs with small caves and small inaccessible beaches, ideal for snorkelling, fishing, peace and tranquillity.

Visitors can also relax by the sea, walking on the paved way along the beach or sitting at the small port. In addition, there are a lot of taverns along the seaside of the village, where the visitors can taste local products and fresh fish.

Not so far from Xiropigado, there are various interesting places to visit.

Nafplio (20 km) the first capital of modern Greece, Argos (20 km) the oldest city in Europe, Mycenae
(30 km) a place of particular archaeological interest (Tomb of Agamemnon and Lions Gate) and Epidavros with the ancient theatre, where unique performances are carried out each summer.
