Tsagarada is one of the most famous Pelion villages and consists a tourist trap for many visitors from Greece as
well as around the world, stands at an altitude of 500
meters and in a distance of 54 km from the city of Volos.

It is mainly owed to the natural beauties of the area throughout the year, at the amplitude of accommodation of any class and kind and at the many stores of dining and entertainment and at the whole integral organization and infrastructure.
It consists of four saint named quarters, which owe their names at the churches that exist at their central squares: Agioi Taxiarhes (the oldest dorp), Agia Paraskevi and Agios Stefanos, which are along the road artery and Agia Kyriaki
a little lower at the mountain's slope towards Damouhari.

It extends to three large saddles, flooded by a sea of trees, with the biggest part of the village hidden inside the dense vegetation and behind saddles and slopes. The dense forest is disseminated by fruit trees, cultivated plants and flowers. The view is panoramic towards the Aegean, with landscapes of incomparable beauty and a uniquely breathtaking environment. The rich net of cobblestone pavements and footpaths that the visitor is going to meet, will drive him to unique areas with the incomparable beauty of the natural landscape binding harmoniously with the architecture of the old renovated mansion houses and of the rest traditional buildings, the artistic stone faucets, revealing the rich and great tradition and history of it.

At the "green sea" or "the emerald of Pelion" as it is called, the visitor has the opportunity to visit several old churches, the beautiful, picturesque, deep shadowed squares with the characteristic age-long platans, that offer bounteously their cool shadow during the summer, to follow walk tracks at the famous picturesque footpaths of Pelion, admiring the traditional architecture of the mansion-houses as well as the wonderful rich nature.
