Location
The
Ziria or Kilini, of an altitude of 2374 meters, is the tallest mountain in Korinthos prefecture and one of the largest in Greece. In the northeast side of the mountain is the Ziria Athletic Center, just 10 km from
Trikala.
The mountain rises slowly towards the west, makes an initial high peak, the Little Ziria, 2080 m, and follows the Great Ziria, 2.374m in height. The two peaks are separated by the Flabouritsa ravine, in which crosses the river Sythas. It must be noted that the entire ecosystem of the area was declared as a protected area.
Access - Stay
From Trikala of Corinthia there is a paved road that leads to Ziria, a route where someone meet the plateau and the Dasios lake.

There are two mountain refuges located in the east and south of the plateau, where visitors can stay overnight upon request. Heading to Ziria, you are captivated by the beauty of the nature and you can admire the view from above.
Runs - Lifts
The athletic center of Ziria includes a track for beginners with instructor (baby lift) 100 m track and a track for advanced with a small lift (also known as "plate"). The track is surrounded by trees that make the descent ride dangerous for the skiers. In addition, for the little friends there is the possibility of playing with sleds and also you can do endurance skiing with a variety of rides. It must be noted that it is possible to rent snow bikes (snowmobile).
Chalet
Apart from the games with snow, the Ziria sports center offers to visitors a beautiful chalet to enjoy a hot drink, even a small meal, which is always accompanied by a unique view of the plateau. The Chalet can also offer even more benefits.
It can accommodate visitors throughout the week, including weekends, so that it attracts those who want one-day getaways.
