By car:
The distances are small and covered by the local buses, so having a car is not necessary.
Folegandros has a central road (12 km) which connects Karavostasi, Chora and Ano Meria. Crossing roads lead to beaches and other areas.
You can rent a car or a motorbike at Chora and Karavostasi.
By bus:
There is a local bus that goes to Karavostasi, Chora and Ano Meria.

By ferry: From Piraeus, trip duration is 9 hours through the route of Western Cyclades (Folagandros, Kithnos, Serifos, Folegandros, Kimolos and Milos) and 11 hours through the route of Eastern Cyclades (Folegandros, Paros, Naxos, Ios, Sikinos, Santorini and Anafi).
Folegandros - Santorini: Every day, trip duration varies from 2 to 3,5 hours.
By flying dolphin or catamaran:
During summer there is coastal link by fast ferries, trip duration is 4 hours.
By boat or small ships:
Daily from Karavostasi and Agali tourist boats go to the beaches of Folegandros.
Once or twice a week there is an organized trip around the island.
By helicopter:
There is a heliport that has night-landing systems.
By your own boat:
You can anchor your boat to Karavostasi (8 m. depth) and Agkali (Vathi, 29 m. depth).
Also, smaller boats (up to 20 feet) can anchor to Agios Nikolaos, next to Agali.
