Sikinos is appropriate for quiet vacation and swimming in clear waters.
Chora, the centre of Sikinos, is one of the most beatiful centers of Cyclades, with stone-made mansions and white houses.
At the heighest spot of Sikinos there are three windmills and at the area of Aghia Marina besides the graphic church ruins are preserved of Ancient Settlements.
The largest cave on the island is Mavri Spilia.
The port of Sikinos is the holiday settelement Alopronia in which in the end of August until Christmas, every night people of all ages are fishing squids.
If you come to Sikinos don't forget to eat salad with kapari and buy honey, cheese and sour milk. |
