In Patitiri you can visit the National Marine Park of Alonissos - Northern Sporades, the Blue Cave and the district of Marpountas with its beautiful beaches.
You can swim at the beaches: Faros, Plakes, Vithisma and Rousoumi Yialos.
By excursion boat you can swim at the beaches: Strovili, Blue Cave, Lalaria, Lechouni, Tourkou Mnima, and near to the chapel of St. Anargiri.
Also you can visit the islands: Peristera, Kyra Panagia and Psathoura. |

Port and capital of the island is Patitiri. With features white pebbles, the small village of Agios Dimitrios is ideal for relaxing holidays. Visit the Peristera island, swim at the beach of the settlement and at Mourtitsa and Mikri Limni, a wetland area of ecological interest.
The old capital of the island, Chora, isoverlooking the high seas. At Chora is the Megalos Mourtias with a beautiful beach and restaurants. |
The characteristic windmill is the jewel on the shores of the Yialos bay. You can swim, among the others, at Valitsa and Vrysitsa.
Votsi is a dense coastal tourist resort. Visit the wine growing area of ancient Ikos. You can swim in Spartinos, in Lakakia, in Tsoukalia, in Tourkoneri, in Megali Ammos and at the beach of Agalu Laka.
The research station of the National Marine Park of Alonissos - Northern Sporades is located in the village of Gerakas and you can go for swimming only by boat at Turku Mnima.
In the picturesque village Kalamakia you can swim in Kalyvia and Vamvakies.
Milia is a beautiful location, surrounded by pines, while Xrysi Milia is a holiday resort with large hotels. Visit Kokkinokastro, Georgie Yialos and the Lefto Yialos. |
You can swim at the beach of the holiday village of Rousoumi Yalos.
At Steni Vala, a beautiful seaside village with picturesque taverns, is located the unit of care and rehabilitation of Mediterranean monk seal.
Close to Steni Vala is the settlement of Agios Petros with a nice beach.
Around Alonissos there are the islets of Mules, Stavros, Manolas, Kokinonisi, Mikros and Agios Georgios.
There is also the island of Giura which has no port and Kyra Panagia (Pelagonisi), the Peristera, the Piperi, the Skatzoura, the Psathoura.
You can buy traditional sweets from Alonissos and you can try the local delicacies: pies, patty, cheese pie, vegetable pie, green pie, octopus pie, milk pie, goat with pasta.
